1842:   Construction of the chapel by the Calvinist Methodists to a cost of £ 3,400 (architect T Evans, Bangor)
May 1875:   Reopening after major modification works to a cost of £ 1,778, including an arched porch on the chapel front and an amphiteatre style seating (architect Richard Davies, Bangor)
1896:   Addition of school house, further rooms and a lecture hall
1904:   Organ purchased from the City Hall in Huddersfield
1996:   Unification of the Methodist congregation with the Independent congregations of Bethesda, forming the United Jerusalem Church (“Eglwys Unedig Jerusalem”)
